I'm still here & new welcomes

Welcome to Art & Tammy Fletcher! They've retired & have plans on fulltiming in 2013 - this year! It looks like they've already experienced camp hosting - way cool. Best of luck to ya'll.

Also welcome to Encourage One Another! This appears to be an inspirational blog site - happy to have ya'll along.

Not my puppies, a friends pups that I could not resist, so put those tiny clothes on them...heh

Not much has been happening my way.

I'm back in therapy for another 10 sessions.

Have finished 3 of them already.

I hope to be done with all this soon.

I've fallen way behind on my blog reading so I hope to get caught up soon!

I've fallen behind on many things lately, so I need to spend the next day or so trying to catch up!

Including laundry & cleaning....

Ellie & I are getting tired of sitting in this driveway & are longing for a camping trip, but we must be patient.

I guess....

It's been cold & raining mostly. Or overcast & gray.
Not much sun has been happening.

My new discovery of how the weather really effects me is astounding!
I have no energy on days like this & actually feel achy.
Achy to the point of deep pain due to tensing up when I have to be out in the cold.

And the clinic is freezing cold, so that doesn't help when I have to be there for about 8 hour days.
I do dress warm though, but we all still get cold there.

Tonight isn't so bad in the RV though. I have a snuggie I'm snuggled into, a blanket on top of that & the heater going. I'll soon turn on the electric blanket so when I go to bed, it'll be nice & warmed up.

The next few days will be in the 60's - I hope we get some sun with that!

How does the weather effect ya'll?

I've been thinking of everyone & hope all is well with everyone!

  2. I'm with you, I don't do well in dark, gloomy, wet weather. I just want to lay around and sleep a lot - not even reading when I'm laying around. I need sunshine, even if the temps are cooler.

  3. It's been cold here in AZ also but we do get to see the sunshine more often than not. Thank goodness. Hang in there. You need to get your body healed - that's the number one chore at this point. Those puppies are just the cutest things.

  4. I am with you on being affected by dark, dreary, cold, depressing weather. Now, if we were actually getting some much needed rain that might be a different story. But, that is not the case. Really ready for some good old sunshine. I would say cheer up but bah humbug really wants to come out. Told you I really understand about the gloom.

    2. I will be fine if I can just get some nice warm sun. And, the weatherman talks like we may get some today. It is supposed to be 50 degrees and sunny. That will be fine with me. I sure hope you get some of that warm sun today.

  5. Cold here is giving me fits of pain even in my fake knees and I can't seem to get warm. We do have sunshine but it is still in the low 60's by Monday more rain and low 50's UCK!
I sure hope this round of PT works for you so you can move on down the road.
Those puppies are so darn cute.

    1. Thanks Jo, it's been cold everywhere this year it seems. But at least we're not in the 20's like we had the previous two years. That rain...yuck, it seems ot make one hurt more when it's cold. Yep, all puppies are cute! :-)

  6. Why thank you so much for your kind welcome to your blog. I must say I just found you a week ago and have loved reading about you. We are huge animal lovers, always have been and always will be. We will be fulltimers come April of this yr. I am so like you I have to have sun and warmth or I am as worthless as a woodpecker in a steel mill. This time next year we will be in FL. I just love the puppy pictures and little puppy clothes. Nothing much cuter than a puppy of any kind. Take care.

    1. Hi Tammy, I looked at your blog a little before I introduced you. Love the dog pics! The Doxie winning tag was too funny! I plan on coming over to your blog when I get a little more time. I can see that I'm not going to get much done around here today - I just want to catch up & sit, relax...ahhhh.
April will be here before you know it!!

  7. When we started traveling all those years ago we thought we'd left snow and cold weather behind. Anything below 60 degrees is cold to me (right now it's 29 degrees here in our part of TX) and I'll take a warm spot in the sunshine anyday. I hate cold weather and instead of going out for a walk I tend to hang out on the couch reading a book.

  9. Sunshine on this blustery is helping. It's the darkness after a long day at work makes me eat all the carbs I can get my hands on...be nice next winter to be traveling. Hope you get your spunk back....guess we just be napping a lot...rest and renew :)

  10. I look out the window and see the sun and think, "Wonderful!" Then I go outside and it's still cold. But, at least, it looks warm which helps my mood.
