Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well.
Sorry, I've not been around much lately.
Not much has been happening.
Just more therapy & doc appointments. I have two more therapy sessions this week & a doc appointment on Wednesday to see where we go from there. Not healing so fast this time around & it's bringing on other complications to my poor beaten body! Good news though, nothing life threatening. My heart goes out to those that really have serious ailments. Life can be hard.
But with not being able to get out much & such, it still works on your mind & puts you in a black space. A space that I fight from time to time not to go visit! Depression isn't fun.
So, I thought I'd test myself & enter a dog show! I've not been to one since March of this year. At that show, I decided I could not run anymore until I had my surgery. It was just too painful & difficult. So had the surgery & decided I'd test myself in the ring this weekend. Actually, the ring wasn't bad. But I'm showing Birdie who is easy to show & the ring was not big, so it was no challenge. When I'm showing, I don't focus on anything except presenting my dogs to the best of our abilities. So any pain or anything goes on the wayside of my mind anyhow. Having said that, I experienced no pain. In the ring.
Outside the ring, at the RV, walking all the dogs, walking to the building, doing all the RV related stuff, etc, I had pain. And bad pain. The kind that doesn't let you sleep. Last night was much better as I had nothing pending today, so I was able to take my strong pain med & sleep with a heating pad, so that helped. I actually got some good sleep for a change!
I left on Friday, the show was only about an hour away. It hurt to drive, but I managed. Pushing that pedal is still a bit hard on the foot. I feel a difference in vehicles too. Fords hurt me more as I have to push the pedal harder & it's placed differently. On my Dodge van, it's easier to drive. But the motorhome is a Ford & that's what I took. Us fulltime RVers don't leave our houses at home y'know!
We won 2 second placements, so no championship for Birdie at this show. Oh well, she'll get it. She only needs one more point to finish.
Weather wasn't the best either. Hot & humid on Friday & Saturday. I ran my generator a lot for the a/c. Saturday night, the cold front came through, so it was much better! Even though it rained for awhile, it stopped & turned very pleasant.
Downside, the dogs picked up some bug, so now some of them are under the weather :-( Hope it passes quickly!
OK, now to try to catch up with ya'll! I've missed everyone.

Yea, so this is what you get to see while driving in Houston & sitting at a traffic light.
Aren't you glad I was in the right spot at the right time?
There's even a phone number for those that wish to apply!
Good luck!!

What's for dinner?
Shish ka bobs! And they were good!
I marinated some boneless chicken breasts in regular old italian dressing today.
Along with button mushrooms, onion slices & bell pepper.
My friends got a new grill. What a fiasco that was!
But we scored a good deal!
I went around with her yesterday looking at grills. We went to our close WalMart first. I thought they'd be marking them down by now to clear them out for other seasonal items.
But not many places are doing that yet.
So we looked, took pics of the grills & price tags.
Went to WalMart, Home Depot & Lowes.
WalMart came closest to what we were looking for pricewise & what type we wanted.
But we were in another town (towns here are all clustered together anyhow), so went to the Walmart there. They had grills on sale! Cool. One that was already assembled had a little paint chipped area that showed just a little bit of rust. So we talked to the manager of the lawn & garden department. She gave us a 10% discount. Cool!
The grill was on sale for $158, regular price was $198. The first WM had theirs still at $198. Then we went inside to get a cover & noticed how many boxes they still had of the grill on sale. BUT, the boxes were marked $147. Hmmmm....Texas law has it that items must be sold at the price they are marked & well, they were marked at $147 from a previous sale that they didn't change back! So, they sold us the grill for $147, then the 10% discount. So that covered the price of the cover, so it was like getting the cover for free. Cool Beans!
Last night, their friend, Aaron cooked pork ribs.
Tonight, I cooked chicken shish ka bobs.
Tomorrow night, no cooking -- I get a break! Even better! We have leftovers anyhow.
Hope all is well with everyone!

Ho Hum
Hi everyone, hope all is well with ya'll!
Life has been rather ho-hum lately.
I've been doing a lot of dog sitting lately, well, not only dogs, but a cat, 2 Peacocks & 1 Macaw.
Then there's my guys too. I too have dogs & cats.
I've become a kennel manager in some way. Hmmmm
So I've not been hanging out on blogger like I'd like to lately. But I have finally added mycheap, er, inexpensive camera that does videos to my netbook. The netbook has windows8 & won't take my real camera now :-( There are no drivers for it so I guess at this point, I have to consider my old camera obsolete, which sucks. The memory card in it is sooo big that it doesn't even fit today's new card readers. Bummer.
So I will have to check out cameras out there & make a decision on acquiring a new one.
In the meantime, I've started working on videos again since I have footage that was just sitting there.
Last weekend, we did go to Brazos Bend State Park. I had no idea that it really wasn't that far away from me! It's a really neat park, but it does have gators! My friends' grandchildren were here, so we took them there. They wanted to see gators, but none were out. So we did some walking & went to the observatory. Saw the moon all close up & personal. Saw Saturn, Venus & the stars of the Big Dipper. That was cool. Especially seeing the rings around Saturn & Venus.
I plan on going back to that park to do some camping when the weather cools down a bit. It's so darn hot. It's just too hot to go camping anywhere, which would really help with my boredom if I could. But me & the dogs would only sit inside of the RV trying to keep cool in the a/c if we tried camping right now.
Here is a link to Brazos Bend State Park: http://wildtexas.com/texas-parks/brazos-bend-state-park
I plan on buying a park pass for Texas State parks once I do finally get out to do some camping. I also live within an hour of Stephen F Austin State Park too.
I'm still in therapy. That should finish up in the first week of September. I'm not anywhere near where I'd like to be physically. I did pay for the walking we did at Brazos Bend. We didn't do that much, but what we did do was still too much for me. But then, there was also a lot of standing around too. Especially in the lines at the observatory to see through the huge telescopes. But it was cool! Especially with the young boys, which are my friends grandsons. Their excitement of seeing these planets really enhanced our moods for sure.
But since I'm not healing as well this time around, they might put me in another program for more therapy. We'll see. I do need it, but I'm so tired of all this.....
The main chiropractor there told me that it's harder the 2nd time around on the same type of surgeries on the same body part. It just takes a lot longer to heal. I have to agree with that.
Again, I hope all is well with everyone. I'm going to once again, try to catch up on my blog reading. I finally have some quiet time for about 2 hours.

Netbook problem resolved
Well after all my moaning about the netbook, it's working beautifully inside of my friends house! Go figure. It was actually a connection issue. She called AT&T, they are still having wifi problems with the router. At least I feel better about the computer now! A day & an evening of needless stress....
Still have that program to get rid of, but compared to all I was thinking, this is much better!
Thought I'd better send this update after my "mournful" post of earlier!
When I first brought the netbook in, I got limited internet. Then finally, the router started working again. I think they are planning on upgrading.
I am also going to check into what it would take to make my air card stronger out in the RV. I won't be here forever & want to be able to connect if I get into poor access areas. Which I will because I have Sprint. And I'm grand fathered in with the air card, which is getting kind of old. So probably needs a booster of some sort. A booster would not be a bad idea as it can also strengthen the cell phone. Last year, when I got stranded at a State Park in Arkansas, I had to use the help of strangers to aid my poor broken RV. (the transmission went out as I was driving around the park, looking for a site)
Thank you everyone for your advice! It never goes uncounted & we all learn from each other.
Oh and as far as the hard drive on my Compaq goes. I remembered I have my old HP laptop still that was rebuilt a few years back. It's old & antiquated, can't deal with today's standards. But maybe I can move the hard drive into it or use it for parts for the Compaq? I could still use either for video/photo editing, then transfer to my external hard drive. I'll ask my friends tomorrow. I'll owe them a great dinner if it works, which will be well worth it!

Tracking Sandy
I've been watching Sandy on NOAA's site. When I first saw it, I thought she'd simply go back out to sea...but it doesn't appear to be so.
Anyone in the path of this storm, please, please do what you need to keep yourselves safe!
Hurricanes effect me more now emotionally than they used to. Not sure how much I'll be able to watch, but I'll be hoping and praying for ya'll.
On a lighter note, I went a'shoppin' tonight. OK, OK..nothing really all that exciting actually.
Just dog food, cat food, a few people food items and these
cute slipper socks.

They are soft, fluffy and lined. But don't have soles like slippers do
Perfect to wear inside on the chilly RV floor.
Take care and again, stay safe.

Tour de Mechanic
Tour
De Mechanic
Yes,
it's an olympic event. Tour De Mechanic.
I'm
SURE to win the GOLD!!
Or
at least I'm pretty sure....
Yes,
I seem to be living in the parking lot of yet, another gracious
mechanic.
He
has me hooked up to 30amp service – yipeee! For $10 a day. I won't
complain.
Nope.
Otherwise,
I'd be going down the highway heading for another state park to spend
the night.
Soo,
yes, you are asking, why in the heck are you at a mechanics?
Aren't
you supposed to be grounded in your friends driveway now?
Didn't
you say that you were staying put for awhile?
OK,
it's like this. Power spiked way low yesterday. Yikes! A/C screamed,
then acted like it was going to dump it's ownself onto the floor. I
quickly turned it off, then shut the power down.
I
came back to a useless portable a/c, so was using the roof air till I
could get it
checked.
It's
really NOT a good idea to plug an RV into a regular 110 outlet. Not
good at all. Well, if you are planning on using your a/c that is.
Ouch.
Plug
melted.
Power
dipped, dropped, said get lostola.
So
then I cranked on the generator thinking I'd go get another portable
a/c.
Then
my friend wanted to check the power in various stages of my RV usage.
TV, computer, a/c, etc.
So
I shut down genny & adibed.
Then
when I went to turn genny on again, it said, get lost! I'm not
working for you anymore! Oh great. No a/c, can't plug into power. So
my friends dug out their generator. But my a/c said, nope. Not strong
enough. I love power. I'm NOT liking that generator & acts like
it's gonna dump onto the floor again.
Wonderful.
Not.
So
last night was spent pretty much sleepless, running the engine off &
on to use the dash air for the dogsters.
This
morning, I headed out to find power. And a mechanic. I found both!
Wish
me luck...I sure could use it at this point.
Btw,
it's August. I think I might have to grow to hate August. The hottest
month of
the year. Although we're not as hot as Arkansas was, it's still too
hot not to use a/c. And humid.
My
friend took her ac from the kennel in for repairs. Picked it up
Friday. We installed it yesterday. It would not turn on! So my
pupsters are still in the RV with me.
To
be continued.....

I want to be a Mocking Bird
Yes.
A Mocking Bird.
Yes.
Me.
A Mocking Bird wanna be...
Wait?
What?
Yeppers!
So what does that mean then?
I'm a Texan, I live in Texas.
So??
(Uh oh, looks like I'm talking to myself again -- and answering!!)
OK, so there are snow birds, right?
All of us in the RV world know what Snow birds are.
They are people from the north that seek warmer climates in the winter. To avoid those bone chillin' cold, cold winters. Brrrr, I don't blame them. Nope, not one bit.
However, in the south, some of us want to move onto cooler climates!
Thus, Mocking Birds.
Kinda.
In an opposite way.
I want to head north to escape the heat!
So, that's what I want to be...
A Mocking Bird...
Maybe one day when I grow up...
~~Oh great, that'll never happen!
Speaking of Mocking birds. They are the State Bird of Texas.
Our area is full of them, probably our most common bird here where I'm located.
Wednesday, when I got one of my dogs out to walk him, I heard a rustle from a bush. I saw something drop on the ground. Uh oh, a very young bird. A mocking bird. So after I put the dog back inside, I went to investigate the bird. It appeared to have a broken wing :-( So I contemplated what to do next. Do I let nature take it's course or do I help it? Do I observe it for awhile to see how it fares? Do I try to catch it & take it to a rehab center? No rehab centers near me though...so what do I do? I decided to observe it. I'd go out to check on it periodically. Once I noticed flies starting to bother it, I decided to try to catch it. But it was very, VERY scared! So I was afraid I'd give it a birdie heart attack. Plus it was behind thick brush.
So I went back to observing instead.
I gave it some time. Then walked back to where it was. It saw me. It FLEW! Ahhh, so the wing is injured, but not broken. But it could not fly well & it's head was cocked off to it's right side. I can only assume that it was learning to fly & bounced into a window or something, thus the injury.
It flew into a low tree, hanging upside down on a branch. It was determined to survive. On it's own! So I left it alone, coming out every so often to watch it. Yesterday, it was in a different area of the yard. Still flying in low trees, but looks like it's doing pretty well. Although head is still cocked off to the side. Poor thing. Today, I saw it again. Flying better! Still a little cocky, but obviously doing better. So if the hawks & other birds leave it alone, I think it will heal & be ok in the long run. It was observed flying much higher today & landing in higher trees!
I hate these kind of ordeals. I am always unsure how to react. Once I saved a bird that lost a wing. It was a sparrow. Took it to a vet, he told me what to feed it, etc. It lived a few months, then died. The vet named it wingwong.

Eagles Rest RV Park
Eagles
Rest RV Park
I promised the owners of this park, Ken & Donna Williams, that I would definitely put a blog up for them. A shout out so to speak!
I was tired.
Dead tired.
As ya'll that have read my blog of late, you know about the transmission problems I had.
Finally, I found the right shop & they ordered me a new heavy duty transmission cooler.
It got installed Thursday morning, Aug 02, 2012.
Finally, all is good again!
Yay & Yipee!!
So we thank everyone profusely.
17 days on the road, well, not exactly on the road.
17 days from leaving Pa to Arkadelphia, AR, to Marshall, TX was a bit much.
But again, I'm very grateful that all mechanics let me plug in so I could run the a/c for the dogs.
Whew!
So on Thursday, Aug 02-2012, I finally hit the road towards home!
I'm beat.
I'm exhausted.
I stopped by Walmart on the way out of Marshall to get some food & a few supplies so I'd not have to stop once home.
So that deed done, but I did keep the engine running with the a/c on. It had been running awhile, it was 107 outside. Another totally freaking hot day!
I go down 59, but the RV is soooo hot. Not overheating hot, but inside hot due to the outside heat beating upon us. So I pull over where I find a place. Crank on the generator & roof air & decided to just sit a spell. Carolyn of amigoingsomeplace texted me. She was trying to find me a COE park. I was done driving. I just wanted to find an RV park & pull over.
So I drive & drive & drive. But I'm tired. I'm near nodding off. Finally, I find a park! I passed quite a few before I wanted to stop. Go figure. I actually pulled into one park. It was rather large. With several buildings all over the place. I could not figure out which was the office. I had no clue on the cost of this park. I had just previously passed one that was $30 a night. No thanks. I just wanted a place to plug in, run the a/c & sleep.
Finally, I found this park!
Yay!
The owners live on the property in a brick & stick house. They used to be fulltime RVers, but gave it up once they got older & didn't enjoy the traveling anymore. He told me that he still wanted to travel some, so he'd go to cities around Texas & his wife would stay home. Then he quit traveling & they opened up their own RV park.
Very nice people. He even gave me a discount! Yipee!!! And a free appointment book.
So I promised that I'd put a shout out for their park.
The park is located a little north of Livingston, Texas.
Their rates as of the date of 8-02-12 are as stated:
Daily $25.00
Weekly $140.00
Monthly $230.00
My site. Electric, water & sewer!
50amp, 30amp & regular 110 plugs.
Although not really very functional, I liked the cute little picnic table.
The brick house is their house. The white building is the shower/bathroom building. But it's not in use at the moment, so be ready to use your own shower in your own rig.
Click on below photos for larger images. These are photos of sites in the park.
I took liberty of taking pics of the flowers. After all, there were some busy bees working. Look at the pollen all over the bee. ;-)
And a nice pond at the rear of the property. He told me I could walk my dogs back there & not have to pick up after them. But it's ingrained into me to pick up after my dogs. I still out of respect, did walk them back there though. Actually, it was so hot that I ended up walking back there where I could find shade in which to walk the dogs.

Blogger Question
I hope all is well with everyone.
I'm recovering from my grueling trip back from my trip.
Wow, what an ordeal!
I have things to post, but am just too dang tired today.
I'm back to the old lifestyle of helping my friends & helping tending to the animals here while they are out of town.
Actually, I'm quite glad to be alone today. Need the down time.
So my question is, is there a setting somewhere to open new tabs for each of the blogs I follow? Sometimes I keep open tabs while I read back on some blogs, yet, open another just to read. But now they all open in the same tab, so I lose the previous blogger I'm following.
There's got to be a setting somewhere, right?
I plan on trying to catch up with everyone...but naps keep interrupting me! Such a crisis, I know...
Google Chrome did not work for me. IE still wants to crash. So yesterday, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox. So far, so good with that. If it can't open something, then I fall back on IE. That's been working out ok too.
Chrome just didn't work for me...so it's gone.
I WILL also download the antivirus that ya'll suggested too as soon as I'm clear minded again. The current one I use has suddenly become too invasive for me. In that it constantly wants to download Chrome back into my system with each update!
Thanks. Ya'll are GREAT on helping me out with these perplexing questions!
:-)

Marshall, TX & more Transmission news
Marshall,
TX & Transmission Update
So
for another update. Left Arkadelphia, AR yesterday. RV was still
acting funny. I took it back to the mechanic, the transmission guy
came out & we took the RV for a test drive. The transmission guy
thought my problem was probably the cadallitic converter. That it was
clogged. They stood beside the exhaust pipes & said the air
blowing from them was really, really hot. It should not be that hot.
I'm
not a mechanic, so I took their word for it of course. I asked if I
could make it to Houston to get it fixed by a mechanic in my area,
they thought so. All this time, it has been bugging me that there had
to be an underlying reason why my transmssion got so severly damaged
like it did. So I thought their reason made sense.
Well.....
I
get about 20 miles down the road & have to pull over. I had been
running the engine for several hours, so the RV was very hot. I
didn't want new damages to the transmission. I let it sit for awhile,
let the genny run so I could run a/c for the dogs.
Then
I left there. Made it to the Texas Welcome Center in Texarkana. Wow,
what a nice welcome center!! If you pass through welcome centers,
stop & pay them a visit. They have great info on state parks,
campgrounds in their states, points of interest & free maps. Yep,
all free. I loaded up on Texas info. Yes, I live in Texas, but it's
nice to have those for when I decide to take off for a few days
somewhere.
Oh....
Back
to my mechanical problems.
I
BARELY make it to Marshall, TX. I knew with the city,
there would be mechanics & transmission mechanics as well. There
is still a HUGE problem! I can't make it to Houston without damaging
my rig!
Actually,
I tried to stop at two parks at towns before Marshall, but I could
not find their RV parks, so I was quite grateful to find this one.
I've been here two nights. Cypress Creek RV park on I-59. I'll do a
seperate blog about it. Nice people run this park. There is no age
limit on RV's like some parks. It's more or less a roadside park, but
there are full timers living here. They have a really nice
meeting/entertainment room, with cable TV. A huge big screen tv,
meeting tables, even a little corner bar. The bathroom/shower area is
really nice too. Only one potty & shower, but it's not a resort
or a busy park, so getting to the shower is not a problem. They have
one for men & one for women of course.
Oh
yea, back to my mechanical problems. So I got up this morning &
left the park. I drove to a transmission shop that helped me in May
when my serpetine belt broke. Shop closed. Bummer, I hope the owner
is ok. I asked about him at another place & they told me he's
been in ill health. But he'd also been wanting to retire, so I'm
hoping for the latter.
OK,
so I went to anther transmission shop. They were very nice folks there
too. They took my rig for a drive. Tranny checks out ok. So they sent
me to an automotive place, they check my cadallitic converter, it's
good. No problems. So now we're all perplexed. They sent me to Ford.
Ouch, we all know how much dealers are.
(btw,
JR's told me if the converter weren't working, then you'd not feel
the air coming out of the exhaust hoses. That it would be clogged)
The
Ford dealer is too booked, they can't take me in. However, he was
kind enough to talk to me & ask questions. As it turns out, it's
most likely the transmission cooler that is the culprit! They never
put a new cooler on!! So I went back to the transmission place &
they ordered me a heavy duty cooler & will be installing it at
9am. And they said I could plug in to run the a/c for the dogs. What
great people!!
As
many of us know, ClassC's are built on a one ton van chasis. As many
of us don't know, they don't change out the stock transmission
coolers, so we have no clue. So our rigs really work overtime on
hauling their loads around. Mine finally took fault to the task. I
hope once they put in the new cooler, then all will be good in
Ellie's world again. It has to be! She is going to be all new before
I'm done with her!
When I get back, I'll
need to get an alignment too. Man-o-man, some of those roads were
just too rough & they did their damages.
I
will be soooo glad to get back home again. 12 days of being displaced
& stranded is enough. But I am very grateful that I had places
that took me & the dogs into consideration & provided us with
power & water.
And
I'm lucky that I was able to afford this extra time at this point
too. Although it meant rescheduling a doctors appointment 3x's! Maybe
I'll actually make that appointment next week???

Desperately need techhie help please - IE vs Chrome
HELP!!! HALP!!
I have a big problem. I use Internet Explorer. But the last update with my antivirus (Avast), interrupted my IE & now it constantly crashes! All the time. Often upon opening.
So I reluctantly downloaded Chrome again. I don't like Chrome. It doesn't load right on my computer or else it's inadequate??
I can NOT comment on blogger or wordpress from Chrome. Buttons aren't lined up correctly & are missing. Profile options are missing on Chrome. It doesn't crash, but it's no good to me if I can't comment from it either.
Chrome also loads like bad typing with weak ink on a piece of paper.
HELP!!!
I use Vista. Please no negative comments on Vista being trash. It's all I have. At the cost of a transmission rebuild, a new computer or a new version of windows is not in the picture. Plus Vista has always worked fine for me.
It stresses me when folks trash this or that. I just need my problem resolved.

And Thank you for any comments & advice.
I'm still here, broken down. Transmission is still in shop. I'm getting restless.
You can see Ellie around the corner of the parking lot. The Travel Trailer belongs to the mechanic.

Bored in Arkadelphia
Welcome to Campers4Lifex2 - glad to have ya'll along! They are a full timing couple that moved so much that they got smart & found that the RV lifestyle fit the bill better!
So for an update on my Transmission dilema. I'm still living in the parking lot of the auto place. Hurst on the Hill. The transmission has been taken to a transmission place for a rebuild. I could have opted for a used transmission, but it made more sense to have the old one rebuilt like new rather than take a chance on a used & have it go faulty as well. The cost difference isn't big enough to justify taking the risk, nor are the labor fees.
I got bored this morning & thought, OK, I'll go take a walk...well, it was hot, hot & hot. Plus this is in a really old side of town. So nothing was really special. I'm just not into all the trash along the sides of old worn out roads & such. So I came back. Plus my foot asked me if I was crazy as it's hurting today. There is a railroad museum across the road, maybe I'll do that later. It's just too hot!
Sooo, I'm sitting here, nothing to do. Could clean the RV more, but that's boring too. Watched two movies.
Ah well, guess it could be worse. And I look silly. My a/c runs so cold that I am wearing a hoodie. It's around 100 outside, but cold inside. Not complaining though as I know many RV folks have trouble getting their a/c's to cool their rigs off.
Hopefully by tomorrow, they'll get the transmission back & put back into the motorhome so we can leave. I think I'll go back to the Iron Mountain park & hang around for a couple more days. Do a bit of driving around just to be sure that all is ok with the moho.
In the meantime, I'm just kind of penned up inside of it since it's too hot outside. Wow, this sure makes for a loooooooooooong day!
In the meantime, Ellie wants attention. She MADE me take these corny pix of her! But she must not have liked them because they seemed to have made her sick!?
Wow, it's really quiet here today. Yesterday, this auto shop was full of folks, noise, distractions, etc. Today, I keep peeking out the windows to be sure they didn't close up & leave! But then, that would not happen because David, the owner, would pop around to let me know they were leaving. Although I'm pretty independent & can take care of myself. I'm pretty self contained with all I need in here, he still is worried that I might need something. I went in to visit with his wife & daughter in their office, but they were reading books, so I came back out. I didn't want to become an intruder. Their son & girlfriend really like the dogs though & come running out to see them when I get one out to walk. The dogs kind of like it too! They love the attention.
This is my new chair that I bought when I was in Pa. Then I bought the little stool thing, one of those "as seen on tv" gizmos. I figured it would make a great foot stool for my chair & it does!

Still in Ar-Kansas
Still here.
Spent the entire morning & afternoon on the phone trying to get a tow truck.
They aren't easy to get for motorhomes.
They finally found one, but it was too$$$
They said they'd $plit the co$t.
I told them I'd try to find a closer mechanic instead.
I did. :-)
He even came to me!!
Yay.
But Ellie pretended not to be sick!! ARGH! Blasted Motorhome, acts just like a sick dog going to a vet!!

Grrrrrrrumble.
So Mr Mechanic tells me that he'll come out at 7:30am, loaded with transmission fluids. We'll fill Ellie up & drive her to his shop. He'll follow me. He says it's weird what she's doing, but he thinks it's a gasket, which entails taking out the $#$$ Transmission. Grrrrrumble. But I'm really glad I found him!!! Well actually, he was one of the guys that the park suggested. He said it won't leak unless the transmission gets hot, so it should be ok to drive it there to get it to heat up for better assessing.
So when he left, I hiked down to the lake to sit on a bench to enjoy the lake for a little while.
Then I came back, ate dinner, fed the dogs. And had a wonderful frozen sangria from my freezer. Yum!
I'm sitting outside trying to compose this, but must move indoors. I'm being attacked.
Ahhhh, Rving in the south!
Bye ya'll.
