Season's Greetings!

Season's Greetings Everyone!

I hope everyone has a safe & wonderful holiday season!

I took this picture of Birdie while in Dallas during the great ice storm!

I'll be heading south tomorrow -- I've decided to spend my Christmas Holiday Season in Corpus Christi, then head up to the big Port Aransas Get Together!

I'm looking forward to the trip.

Now, if we get an ice storm in CC, then something is wrong with the world!

I also set up a small Christmas tree in the motorhome. It's cute, I'll have to take some pics of it.

BUT, I bought the tree at Target! Yep, Target. I NEVER shop Target, so waaahhhh!!!

And yes, I used my debit card. I should have paid cash!! ARGH! My bank (ha, I don't actually own a bank, that always sounds funny), notified me on Thursday. Grrrrr

Sooooo, Friday was spent running to my bank to cancel my debit card. Then off to my storage place to re-secure my monthly payment plan onto a different source.

Always something huh?

Again, Happy Holidays to everyone!!

  1. So sorry you were caught up in that Target mess. We didn't shop at Target so hopefully the other stores are paying attention and strengthening their security. Merry Christmas. I love the picture of Birdie. So beautiful.

  2. I refilled a prescription at Target. Aaargh! Dave is still deciding what I should do about that. No bogus charges have shown up yet and he checks pretty much daily.

I wish you no storms but I wonder if you are in the path of the one bringing tornados to Texas with it.

    1. Oh no, I discovered that I must have a limit on my account now. I ran to the store & my check would not process!! I thought canceling my debit card would have taken care of it, but I guess my account is still locked down. Must call the bank in the morning.

I don't know anything about any tornadoes? Generally, they don't head this way.

  3. Beautiful photo of Birdie on your Christmas Card. Bummer about Target - I think I'm okay, thanks goodness. I'd just cancel the card and have them issue another one if I had shopped there during that time. Apparently the problems can crop up anytime in the future. Kind of like waiting for the other shoe to drop. I wouldn't want to be constantly on alert. Good that you went to the bank.

    Merry Christmas! :)

I'm in San Antonio, not sure if I will go down there, where are you guys meeting and what day? Thanks.

    1. Teri, you can join the group here on facebook by putting this in:
TEXAS GULF COAST GET TOGETHER (GTG)

Or just contact me. I'll be in CC for a week, then will be moving onto Port Aransas. A lot of folks are staying at IB Magee RV park there, but I think I'm going to boondock on the beach with the cheap beach pass instead. Folks are starting to trickle in & will be there through January. I'll probably be there for about a week, then will need to head back to Houston. If you can make it, let me know, I'd LOVE to meet you!

    1. Thanks Jo. I'm beating myself over the head for shopping there! It's been years since I've shopped anything in Target. I think they are generally a bit pricey compared to other stores.
Happy Holidays back to ya gal!
