Flaky, flaky, flaky

Yep, I've been flaky lately.

It's kinda crazy.

But who knows what the elves are going to do to us this time of year?

This is what they did to me.

They MADE me do it!

And these things are easy to get obsessed with...

My picture window by the sofa...can only do the corner because in Texas, I'll probably have that window partially open on Christmas day!

My rear window - let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

Here is a tutorial on how to make them if you are interested & have forgotten how: ( I did not iron mine, I mean, really??)

Hmmm, interesting. Firefox would not let me put anything below the video, so I moved over to Opera to finish this post.

I'm gonna get dizzy or confused or...well..not that anyone would notice...

So because I googled at the clinic on how to make snowflakes as they were decorating the room, I ended up making most of them there. Then when I got home, I had to make more for my RV. So these are the ones at the clinic:

The Grinch also seems appropriate for this photo too huh?

~As always, be kind to your pets, clean up after them on your travels & respect your neighbor~

  1. Do you have proof that you're just flaky this time of year?

  2. Very nice. I like the 3 dimensional look of "not" ironing them. Merry Christmas!

    1. Thanks Teri. Actually, that is a good point. The others do look rather flat don't they?

  4. I'm trying to decide whether I think I can make those tiny scissor cuts without doing serious damage to various other things (body parts, etc)... I love this kind of thing. But it took me 3 days to figure out how to make an oragami (can't even spell it) crane so what makes me think I could make a snowflake? Guess I'll try...

    1. I think I'd have a tougher time with origami too. It's more of an art than snowflakes are. But yes, be careful not to cut any fingers off! that would hurt. And you'd have red snowflakes then.

  5. Lots of fun, looks pretty, and doesn't cost much. All pluses as far as I can see:) Have a wonderful Christmas, Cindy!

    1. Sunny, it's so easy to get carried away & just keep working on them! Actually, it's kind of like knitting or crocheting. Just something to do & relax.

  7. He sure had beautiful eyes. Oh that wasn't what I should have been looking at I guess. I'll have to watch it again. Thanks Cyn.

    1. Haha Jo...hmmm, maybe you should go to youtube and search how to make snowflakes with a different host. Bet you'd still gaze at his eyes the 2nd time around too.

  8. Yours are eight pointers. Mine were always six. I wonder if I can remember how to fold for six?

I remember making these in the back seat on a car trip when we were kids. What a mess we made! Now I like to hold them over a trash can while making the cuts. :)
